Layerwise SDK Additional Permission

This Additional Permission applies to Layerwise software packages that expressly reference this document, including, where applicable:
@layerwise-ai/invera-sdkinvera-sdk
(the "SDK").
The SDK is licensed under the PolyForm Perimeter License 1.0.1. This document grants additional permissions beyond those license terms. It does not reduce any permission otherwise granted under the PolyForm Perimeter License 1.0.1.
Permitted Applications
Notwithstanding any question as to whether an application could otherwise be considered competitive with the SDK, Layerwise expressly permits you to use, modify, integrate, deploy, distribute, provide, and commercially exploit the SDK as a component of an independently developed application, product, or service.
Permitted applications expressly include, without limitation:
- chatbots and conversational AI applications;
- retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems;
- AI assistants and copilots;
- agent runtimes, agent orchestration systems, and agent-based applications;
- evaluation, testing, benchmarking, and harness applications;
- AI observability, monitoring, safety, validation, and quality-assurance systems;
- vertical or industry-specific software incorporating the SDK;
- hosted SaaS products;
- self-hosted and on-premises products;
- internal enterprise applications; and
- commercial software and services provided to third parties.
You may charge fees for, license, sell, subscribe users to, or otherwise commercially exploit such applications, products, and services.
An application does not become a competing product merely because the SDK is technically necessary for, bundled with, embedded in, or distributed as a dependency of that application.
Integration and Modification
You may modify the SDK as reasonably necessary to integrate it into a permitted application.
You may distribute the SDK, including permitted modifications, as part of or as a dependency of a permitted application, provided that all notices and license information required by the PolyForm Perimeter License 1.0.1 are preserved.
Standalone SDK Products
For clarity, this Additional Permission does not grant any additional right to provide the SDK itself as a standalone commercial product.
In particular, this Additional Permission does not extend to a product whose primary commercial value is providing the SDK itself, or substantially the same functionality and value as the SDK, as a developer library, SDK, client library, framework component, package, or substantially equivalent developer-facing product.
Examples include repackaging, rebranding, white-labeling, or offering the SDK or a substantially equivalent derivative as an alternative SDK or library.
Such uses remain governed exclusively by the PolyForm Perimeter License 1.0.1.
Attribution and Notices
Any person receiving a copy of the SDK must receive the notices required by the PolyForm Perimeter License 1.0.1.

The names "Layerwise", "invera", and any associated logos, product names, and trademarks are not licensed except as necessary for truthful attribution or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Separate Commercial Licensing
Layerwise may offer separate commercial licenses for uses that are not permitted under the PolyForm Perimeter License 1.0.1 or this Additional Permission.

This document grants additional permissions only.
Except for the additional permissions expressly granted above, the PolyForm Perimeter License 1.0.1 continues to govern the SDK.
If this Additional Permission and the PolyForm Perimeter License 1.0.1 can reasonably be interpreted consistently, they must be interpreted consistently.
Where this document expressly grants a broader permission, that additional permission applies.
